Collections

The Children’s Hour offers a unique chance for people of all categories to participate if they have the appetite to experience something interesting that also helps to support children and youth from Slovakia.

Collection ULIČNICA is the name given to an annual one day, national collection into money boxes. It is organized once a year thanks to the volunteers from entire Slovakia that are marked with the Hugo badge and money-box. The donators that voluntarily contribute to the money-box are rewarded with a colorful and cheerful Hugo badge.

We have established this form of collecting three years ago:

Collections through payroll accounting departments enable the employees of companies to contribute with their hour salary or any other financial way through payroll accounting departments that subtract the financial unit of the employee from his salary and send it to the account of Children’s Hour. We cooperate on this process with our partner Crystal Call that helps to address individual corporations.

Spontaneous collections can be organized by anybody, anytime and anywhere in Slovakia and their implementation depends strictly on the creativity of the initiators. It can be in the form of voluntary contributions into the money-boxes that are placed in an organization or happening, as well as donating part or whole income from the sale of cultural and sports tickets etc. Participation is welcomed from profit and nonprofit organizations, interest groups and individuals.
