The Children’s Hour Television show (TV Show) is a deeply regarded family program broadcasted annually before Christmas on the day of St. Nicolas. The uniqueness of the program is due to the fact that it incorporates good entertainment and charity towards children. It would be very hard to find one Slovak celebrity that hasn’t participated in the show at least once during the past twelve years. All the artists and hosts are glad to participate without requiring any salary. In fact it’s not uncommon for them to make financial contributions during the year to our collections.

The essential parts of the TV Show are documentaries about children which were helped through the Children’s Hour grant program. Essentially they’re from the workshops of the best Slovak documentary directors and are annually broadcasted as premiers.

During the live broadcasts we record the fastest increase in financial contributions since the TV viewers are able to participate in the collection by sending SMS or call directly from their home phone and chat with their favorite celebrities.

Besides that it is possible for individuals and companies to make large financial contributions for children.

Our long term partner in the making and broadcasting of the Children’s Hour TV Show is the public Slovak television (STV).
