NOT ONLY TO HAVE (knowledge of one’s value and dignity) 

It is important for all children to know their own value, to have respect towards life, nature and be a meaningful human beings and not solitarily concentrated on money.

WHEN CHILDREN ARE DIFFERENT (respect to diversity)

There are various children around us that are evidently different from the rest, because of different skin color, or extraordinarily talented, or have a serious health problem, or live in isolation or insufficiency. These children mustn’t be excluded from normal life.

WE SOLVE THINGS TOGETHER (participation of children)

Let’s learn to respect the rich internal world of children. CSF directs its efforts to adults by pointing out the feelings and opinions of children, so that they’d start to be interested in their seeing of the world, needs and dangers, e.g. to have knowledge about the dangers of the internet ...

WHEN THE CHILD IS IN NEED OF IMMEDIATE HELP (the prevention and solution of critical situations in the lives of children)

Children facing difficult situations need immediate help in cases when the family is dissolving, they’re suffering from a fatal illness, they’re orphaned, they’re leaving orphanages, crisis centers, reeducation institutions or one of their parents is kept in custody.

The Children's Hour Grant program is used as the tool for dividing the income from the public collection. Annually an estimated number of 200 projects from entire Slovakia seek financial support. It is not possible to support individuals from the collection. The Children's Hour Grant program has a successful twelve year history, during which 1 469 beneficial projects were supported with the total cost of 4 179 976,88 €.
